Our Redeemer’s Christian School is a pre-K through 12 Community Christian School. Established in 1982 the school grew to its present program in the fall of 1995. In 2000, a new gymnasium and seven classrooms to accommodate our growth were added.
The school is housed in the Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Brethren Church, but
serves students from over 30 congregations in the Minot Area. All staff
members are active Christians and the curriculum is biblically based.
The mission of Our Redeemer’s Christian School is to serve God by
providing a quality Christian education for the churches and families of
the Minot area. The result of this quality education will be
demonstrated as our students successfully move to their next educational
step with excellent academic preparation and Christ-centered view of the
world.
ORCS seeks to follow the Lord’s will in all aspects. As the school has
grown and continues to grow, we seek his wisdom in changes that need to
be made.
ORCS offers a variety of extra-curricular activities. Choir and band are
available for students with musical gifts and interests. A variety of
sports including, boy’s and girl’s basketball for grades 5-12 and girl’s
volleyball for grades 6-12 are provided at the school. We have a very
successful coop with Berthold High School in football for grades 7-12.
All other activities are done in cooperation with Minot Public Schools.
We are proud of what we offer the Minot community and feel blessed by
God each and every day. Anyone who is a part of the school is always
happy to share what the school has to offer. If you would like a tour of
the campus, our staff is always happy to share what ORCS has to offer.
We are thankful also to the Minot community and the surrounding
communities for their continual support. ORCS is a tuition based school
and desires to keep Christian education affordable to all. We are able
to do this because of the generous donations of people in the Minot
area.
