Our Redeemer’s Christian School is a pre-K through 12 Community Christian School. Established in 1982, the school grew to its present program in the fall of 1995. In 2000, a new gymnasium and seven classrooms to accommodate our growth were added.
The school is a ministry of Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Brethren Church, but serves students from over 30 congregations in the Minot area. All staff members are active Christians, and the curriculum is Biblically-based.
The mission of ORCS is to provide Christ-centered education with the goal of building strong minds rooted in Truth, faithful hearts guided by grace, and servant leaders living for the glory of God.
ORCS offers a variety of extracurricular activities. Choir and band are available for students with musical gifts and interests. We also offer Speech and One-Act Play clubs. Our in-house athletic programs include boys' and girls' basketball for grades 5-12; girls' volleyball for grades 6-12; and boys' golf for grades 7-12. We have junior high and high school co-op agreements with Bishop Ryan Catholic School for football and softball; Nedrose Public School for girls' golf; and Surrey Public School for baseball. Soccer, tennis, swimming and diving, hockey, and track and field are offered through co-op agreements with Minot Public Schools.
